I was tagged. And you need to know 7 things you dont know about me? hmmmm that could be a challenge


1.) I'm pretty sure i have a nice healthy Obsession with red lights and sirens. ( and since i do medical i have plenty on my car ) i love to watch cop cars and fire trucks - its just like the feeling of the little kid.... the ooooooooooo ahhhhhhhhhh of Fourth of July .... I know im crazy

2.) I'm the Oldest of 3 kids .....i have 2 younger sisters that are both in a health field of sorts... one is a CNA and the other is a Vet Tech.

3.) If you looked in my closet there is a nice collection of band t-shirts from concerts BUT they only come in 3 colors - blue - green - and black ..... have to stick to the basics lol

4.) I donate more time per week than i get paid for ( well not every week ) but i am the medical advisor for 2 concert series .... one in oshkosh and one in greenbay.....but i love what i do

5.) ok this is getting hard.....I dont ever sleep i am lucky if i get 4 hours a night and i have found that i sleep better during the day. ( how odd is that )

6.) I love palmtrees, with all the stuff in my life that never went my way i found one thing in the world that no matter how bad it is i can still put a smile on my face.... and that is palmtrees. i actually have an awsome tattoo on by back with a palmtree in it that i probably look at in a mirror on a daily basis.

7.) I have one more oddity of me.... when i change the volume on something i always end on an even number....i dont know where this came from and i dont know why i do it.... it doesnt bother me if it is on an odd number i guess i just perfer even numbers.

MIA??

Hey everyone I just wanted to let everyone know im still around :). The last 2 weeks have been so busy with just work alone it isn't even funny. I am on an average of 50 a week at one job and then had to pick up hours to cover at the bar and clean up some big messes at the bar ( have to love being the manager ) so i wanted to let you know that im still around.....

Well now that ive got that out....Yesterday was a blast!! I worked at the bar from 9am to 1am and then i went over and kidnapped Brandy and Jenny came a long also and then we got a movie and ended up chilling the rest of the day - watching movies and drinking wine - ok so quite a bit of wine. 3 people and 2 bottles :)

Well it is monday again and im in a serious cleaning mood which im sure will be good for the apartment but i do have to work at 3:30pm and im kinda hoping my roommate left his half of the rent here so i can put it into my bank account before it comes out of there on its own on Thursday.....

Well everyone im going back to cleaning and trying to relax some before I head to work :)

Monday Again?!?

Well the weekend was fun...got up to the campground about 11am on saturday and it was just a gorgeous weekend to be outside. I admit we did get pretty drunk on saturday, but it was worth it to get to hang out with friends and just chill. I passed my test saturday morning so that was anouther plus for the weekend. Came home on sunday and did laundry and just laid around and watched movies. Anyway today is Monday and is the start of my 12 days on KC. It shouldn't be that bad, because they are bringing in extra guys on saturday night to cover if there are any problems. ( We know it can't be problem free ). Well i don't know to much else. So hope everyones weekend was great!

There is always something good about someone...sometimes it is obvious...sometimes you have to look deeper, if you take the time to look deeper and you may find a wealth of good you never knew existed.

Get to know someone before you judge then, you never know when you will need them.

Test? I'm Not In School Anymore!!


T minus 9 hours to my test.... i have been taking practice tests at work all night and i seem to be doing quite well. It has been a nice change of pace at work tonight everyone showed up so that always makes it a lot easier. Tomorrow is the Cookout and start of the camping trip, it should be pretty fun as long as the weather holds out for the whole weekend. After this weekend comes a nice long strech at work so ill have to see how that goes <<>> but i guess i can't complain too much i will be even more set in the funds department. I'm trying to find some pictures of me to put up here and if i could access myspace from work i would put an older one of me up here....but be warned i am not attractive at all... so no running and hiding because you have been warned :P until later have a great night!

Work

That seems to be all that i am up to this week. We only have 3 people that work the shift i do and well one of them has the week off because he just had a baby last saturday so that i can understand but you would think that they would give us a replacement for the week so that we aren't swamped....well that didn't happen so i am stuck doing his work and my own work and then today the other guy that works with us called in sick....yep you guessed it i am the only one on the shift tonight....so that is just double the fun :)

the good side of this is that i got called in sunday so i started the week knowing i will get overtime which i can always use being in the new apartment and all which im really starting to like but i think we need to actually get cable here soon because you can only watch so much static before you go nuts :)

this weekend should be a great time - all us first responders and taking the weekend and going camping...can we say that this should be a really late weekend....its just great sometimes to relax and not worrry about 2 jobs and not have to worry about the pager going off

i have been a little crabby lately but i think this week has just been a little too much stress with being short staffed at work.... not that next week will be any better i have overtime the 19th and 20th which should be interesting as it is an upgrade weekend. so 7pm to midnight on saturday and 7am to 3:30pm on sunday....i think i should take a trip to a brewer game or go some where fun after that weekend....if anyone wants to do something that weekend ( 25th / 26th ) let me know i am up for just about anything...

Sometimes i wonder when i look around and see where i am in my life and think wow is this where i was planning to be by now? then i look around and see that i have it pretty well in most aspects....but there are some things that i am still missing in my life like someone that i can truly care for and well you know what i mean .... i guess i just get lonely sometimes .... i find someone that is really cool and probably one of the greatest friends i will ever have and it just doesnt work out... im sick of getting my heart stomped on... yeah yeah i know i will find the right one someday ... but don't we all wish that, that someday was today.... its only human nature..... well i guess im done whining and on that note i would rather have that awsome friend as a friend than to not have them in my life at all....

Sorry i'm never usually like this .... im quite the outgoing person.....really i am :P
